In order to eliminate TCA, Colombin has developed a new production cycle called ACT, acronym of three physical processes:
• A as Absorption, so that corks can retain the correct quantity of the vector necessary to the process;
• C as Conditioning, to distribute in all the cork cells the molecules of the vector;
• T as Thermal energy, which allows the molecules of the vector to vibrate and translate, thus carrying away all the volatile compounds of cork by penetrating the cork cells.

| Colombin reached more than 25 millions euro turnover in 2007. Annual report for fiscal year 2007 confirms the growth of the multinational group. With over 1200 clients and 800.000 cork stoppers produced per day, Colombin closed the year with more than 25 millions euro turnover only in Italy. |
