Research and development have always been an important factor at Colombin, as in the ‘50s the company was already experimenting with innovative technologies in cork processing.
The specific application to the processing of a natural product of mechanics first, electromechanical later and more recently, electronics, has always offered to the consumers of Colombin corks a product with innovative technical characteristics, that at the same time remains natural and respectful of the environment.
The development of an advanced laboratory at Colombin ensures constant monitoring and research aimed at adopting new technologies and increasing even further the reliability of our products.

| Colombin reached more than 25 millions euro turnover in 2007. Annual report for fiscal year 2007 confirms the growth of the multinational group. With over 1200 clients and 800.000 cork stoppers produced per day, Colombin closed the year with more than 25 millions euro turnover only in Italy. |
